Journalism in today’s digital era builds on the same basis as journalism has always built upon. What has changed is the way journalists communicate, work together, and the amount of data and information that needs to be investigated and researched. These challenges require new methods and tools. New business models for journalism, new players and platforms are emerging already but there is still a gap and need for enhanced technologies for collaboration and analytics. The vision is an agile platform supporting new models and enabling the integration of new technologies tailored to the data journalist needs.
